About me

I am a psychotherapist with an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Leeds.

Over the past 18 years, I have worked across the mental health field, including 12 years in practice as a therapist. My experience spans supporting people with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relational difficulties, and mid-life transitions, as well as working with complex conditions such as dementia, autism, and schizophrenia.

Alongside my clinical work, I develop mental health services with Mind — focusing specifically on EAP design, talking therapies to crisis care. This breadth of practice continues to shape how I think about well-being, resilience, and the different forms of support people need at various points in life.

Beyond the therapy room

Looking ahead, I am also developing ‘Leading Edge’, which draws on psychotherapy and psychology to support senior leaders navigating transition, complexity, and change. While distinct from my therapy practice, it grows out of the same commitment: helping people move through difficulty with greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.

My Practice

I offer individual face to face sessions, and online appointments over Zoom and telephone.

I also offer couples counselling across the same platforms.

My private practice is in Hardwick, Aylesbury.

All therapy sessions are 50 minutes long.

I am full member of the BACP (membership number
00981252) and adhere to the BACP code of ethics.

I am fully covered by professional indemnity insurance.

 

Fees

My fee for individual therapy £60 per session.

For couples therapy my fee is £80 per session.

Terms & Conditions

All session fees must be paid in advance.

Cancellations are acceptable up to 48 hours in advance, but if less than 36 hours is given, must be paid for.

How I Practice

The quality of the relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. I look to provide a comfortable setting where you can openly talk and explore what has been going on for you.

I believe it is important to help you feel better and find the change you are seeking, but also to find more resilience to tolerate the uncomfortable feelings that are often part of life. Whether exploring short-term coping strategies or deeper reflective work, I adjust my approach to meet your needs.

I focus on building a strong therapeutic connection, where honesty, integrity and empathy are the foundations of mutual trust and respect. I support you to explore your past and present, looking to help you to understand yourself. I will support you to find what you need to grow beyond your experiences and engage in a meaningful life.

Couples Counselling
Whether you're navigating conflict, communication issues, or simply feeling disconnected, our work together can help uncover the deeper patterns at play. My role is not to take sides, but to support each of you in expressing your truth and hearing one another in a new way. We explore both the challenges and the hopes you carry, working collaboratively toward a more resilient and fulfilling relationship. Even small shifts can lead to meaningful change when done with compassion and care.
